As many of you now know, Brian suffered a heart attack and died on 21st July 2022. Details of his funeral are below. Brian, Dad, Burge, Uncle Brian, Grandpa, - however you knew him, he was much loved and will be sadly missed by all of us. Brian was suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, though this did not contribute to his death, as he died mercifully quickly and was spared the long and lingering decline which Alzheimer's often brings. It is a terrible illness which causes huge distress, both to those who suffer from it, and their loved ones. In lieu of sending flowers, we would be very grateful if you could make a small donation to the Alzheimer's Society in Brian's memory, to support the excellent work they do in trying to combat this disease.
